Abstract

The approximate method of design of multilayer vibration damping coatings efficiency with reference to awkward shape bearing structures is developed. The structure with a coating is observed as the multilayer heterogeneous visco-elastic structure. The method is based on presetting of free vibration shapes of a bearing structure, local approximation of these shapes, local approximation of a coatring on a curvilinear surface by a flat coating and calculation of relative energy dispersion with use of quasi-stationary approximation for deformation field in a coating. Satis-factory accuracy of the offered method is shown.
